I have no idea what this is and i have to give a presentation on it. Help!!!!!What is thermal gradient and how could i demonstrate it in a presentation?
Thermal gradient is the rate of temperature change with distance; for example, its increase with depth below the surface of the earth.
A shower curtain is a great demonstrator of this. The hot air inside the shower (relative to the colder air on the outside) lowers the air pressure inside the shower and sucks the curtain in to stick on your legs.
I'm not sure you'd want to demonstrate this but pictures and a description might be OK.
